Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPMC is a locally owned plumbing contractor in Fuquay-Varina with a full schedule of new homes booked with repeat builders across the Triangle - custom and luxury homes, production and semi-custom builder programs, townhomes and multi-family in Raleigh, Holly Springs, Apex, Cary, Wake Forest and Chapel Hill. We are hiring experienced new construction plumbers who can work every phase of a house: slab, rough-in, trim-out and punch-out. Hourly pay of $24-$30 based on experience, full benefits, and a quarterly bonus after six months. Steady, year-round work. No service calls. No on-call. WHAT YOU WILL DO- Under-slab: lay out and set drain, waste and water from the plans, hold grade, and get it right before the pour- Rough-in: PEX and CPVC water lines, PVC drain/waste/vent, cast iron risers and stacks, hose bibs, tub and shower valves- Trim-out: set fixtures and water heaters (tank and tankless) and finish per the builder's selection sheets- Punch-out: walk the house, clear the builder's list and the inspector's list, and leave it done- Dig and backfill sewer and water service lines - excavator experience is a plus and pays more- Read residential plans and set your own work from them- Work on a two- or three-man crew with the chance to lead one as you prove yourselfWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- 2 to 5 years of hands-on plumbing experience with residential new construction required- Experience on both slab and crawlspace homes- Comfortable with PEX, CPVC, PVC and cast iron- Able to pass NC inspections without callbacks- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - we start each day on the job site- Show up on time, work safe, and communicateWHAT YOU GET- $24-$30 per hour depending on experience and skills- Quarterly bonus after six months- Health insurance- Paid time off and paid holidays- Retirement plan- Company truck, tools and phone for lead positions- Year-round work with established builders and a clear path to lead plumber and foremanABOUT PMCPlumbing & Mechanical Corporation of North Carolina is a licensed plumbing contractor in Fuquay-Varina.
